2 weeks at a historic castle in France!

For two weeks the graduate students in Hotel and Restaurant Management & Tourism and Experience Development, at campus Geilo, went on very special student trip to Chateau de Fontager in France.

Here is an excerpt of the memories our students had on their journey

I had a brilliant trip. I learned a lot about hotels, restaurants, food and culture. I learned more than I think I would have learned from books. These are memories I will have for the rest of my life'. - Rikke Lillegård

'I learned a lot about the French cuisine during the stay. Although I was initially infected with E.Coli, the trip was very well-organized, especially compared to before. I felt this trip to France was more informative and educational, and we were a bigger group. It was a really nice experience and something I will take with me wherever I go, particularly in reference to leadership, the understanding of other cultures, and how to improve the way I work alone and with people from other nations.' - Anette Schrøder Heggdal
